Privacy Policies

Covers aity.uk itself and each aity product listed below.

aity.uk This site
In short: aity.uk is a static information page. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't run analytics or trackers, and doesn't collect any personal data from visitors.

What this site collects

Nothing. There are no forms, no accounts, no cookies, and no analytics scripts on aity.uk. The site exists only to list our products and link out to them.

Server logs

Our hosting provider may keep standard web server logs (e.g. IP address, requested page, timestamp) for security and reliability purposes, as most web hosts do. We don't access or use these for tracking, marketing, or profiling.

Links to other sites

aity.uk links to our individual products (such as Mosaity) and to third-party sites (such as GitHub). Once you leave aity.uk, that site's own privacy policy applies — see the policy for each product below.

Mosaity Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 June 2026

In short: Your data stays on your device unless you explicitly choose otherwise. We don't sell, share, or monetise your information.

What we store on your device only

The following data never leaves your device:

What is shared when cloud features are enabled

Cloud features are off by default. If you turn them on in Settings, the following data is also sent to our cloud service:

This data is linked to a random device identifier — not your name or email. It is used to:

You can turn cloud features off at any time, and syncing stops immediately.

What we never do

Backups

You can create encrypted backups of your data. These are password-protected files stored wherever you choose to save them (e.g. your device or personal cloud storage). We cannot access your backup files.

Deleting your data

You can delete all your data at any time from Settings. This permanently removes everything stored by the app on your device. If cloud features were enabled, you can also request deletion of any cloud-stored data.

Children

Mosaity is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the app without a parent or guardian's involvement.

Sensitive data

Mosaity handles wellbeing and mental health information, which is considered sensitive personal data under UK data protection law. We take extra care with this data by keeping it on your device by default and giving you full control over whether it is ever shared.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to:

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the updated version will be available in the app. We will not reduce your privacy protections without asking for your consent.

Narraity Visit on GitHub →

Narraity Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 August 2026

In short: Your manuscript stays on your device. Narraity has no backend and no server of its own — the only data that ever leaves your device is what you explicitly choose to sync to your own Google Drive, or what you type into a Feedback post under your own GitHub account.

What we store on your device only

By default, everything Narraity creates stays on your device, as plain files:

Google Drive sync (optional)

If you turn on Drive sync for a project, your project files are synced to your own Google Drive — not to any server we run, because Narraity doesn't have one. We authenticate via Google's own sign-in; your Drive access token is stored encrypted on Windows and in app-private sandboxed storage on Android. Turn sync off at any time in Settings.

GitHub sign-in for Feedback (optional)

The in-app Feedback screen lets you sign in with GitHub to post feedback as a GitHub Discussion, under your own GitHub identity. This is entirely opt-in — nothing is posted or shared until you choose to sign in and submit feedback yourself. Release Notes and the News Feed also read public data from GitHub, but don't require sign-in or send any personal data.

What we never do

Deleting your data

Delete a project from within the app, or uninstall the app, to remove everything stored locally. If you enabled Drive sync, delete the synced files from your own Google Drive directly — we have no server-side copy to delete.

Children

Narraity is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the app without a parent or guardian's involvement.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

Because Narraity stores your data on your own device (and, if you opt in, your own Google Drive), you already hold and control it directly. If you have questions about how the app handles data, contact us below.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the updated version will be published here.
