Meridian 224

Fleet Operations

You run a deep-space starship depot. Ships arrive low on fuel, shot up, or crewed by exhausted people β€” and they're all waiting on you. Draw a flight path to send each one through the facilities it needs, in the right order, before its patience runs out. Real-time, with a pause button for when it all arrives at once.

Meridian 224 gameplay β€” a central hub station with four service spokes, arriving starships queued in lanes on the right, and a drawn flight path routing a ship in to dock

What is Meridian 224?

A logistics puzzle in the spirit of air-traffic-control games β€” but the tower is a space station and the planes have a to-do list.

Meridian 224 is a top-down management game for Windows. You're the Dockmaster of a support waystation: a central hub with four spoke facilities β€” a personnel dock, a two-sided refuel station, Star Trek-style repair dry docks, and a maintenance apron. Starships file in along arrival lanes, each carrying a mix of needs. Your only tool is a drawn line: click a ship, trace a path through the facilities it needs, and it follows the route, docking at each stop. Redraw at any time to reroute mid-flight. Meet everything in time and the ship jumps home; leave it too long and it leaves unhappy β€” or a near-miss on a crossed path dents your safety score.

The loop

  1. A ship arrives in a queue lane and shifts forward as the line clears. It needs, say, a cell swap and a hull repair.
  2. You draw its route β€” through the refuel station, then a dry dock, then off the map edge to send it home. Draw order sets service order.
  3. The ship files single-file down each facility's spoke queue, takes a berth when one frees, and gets serviced while its patience arc ticks down.
  4. Two ships on crossing paths? Pause, redraw one, and un-pause. Emergencies get their own lane and jump every queue.
  5. Finish the shift for a Bronze / Silver / Gold / Platinum medal, scored on ships served, timeliness, resource efficiency, safety and throughput.
  6. Spend medal points at the hub on bigger facilities, more berths, and automation β€” auto-refuel, auto-summon tanker, a fighter-squadron dispatcher β€” that trades a cut of the fee for not having to think about it.

What's in it

Three acts, ten hand-built missions, one growing station.

✏️

Draw-a-path routing

Editable flight-path splines. Trace a ship through as many facilities as you like; redraw from its current position to reroute on the fly.

β›½

Facilities with real constraints

Sized docking clamps and a finite crew pool. A shared fuel reserve that tankers fill and customers drain. Parts-hungry dry docks with a straight approach. Drones with a limited apron.

⏸️

Real-time with pause

Slow-mo and pause-to-plan for the crunch β€” plus at least one no-pause mission an act where slow-mo is all you get.

🚦

Traffic that bites

Crossed paths trigger near-misses and auto-braking; a sustained overlap is a bump β€” damage and a new repair need, never a game-over.

πŸ…

Medal scoring

A weighted result across five factors, and a line telling you exactly which one capped the next tier.

βš™οΈ

Upgrades & automation

A persistent upgrade budget carries across acts. Build the station out, then hand the routine work to automation at a small efficiency cost.

πŸ’₯

Difficulty levers

Fighter squadrons, VIP overrides, mid-shift equipment breakdowns, post-battle arrival bursts.

πŸͺ

Made to be readable

Clean procedural art over a slowly-turning planet, a scrolling starfield, and a key you can collapse once you know the icons.

It's a beta

The full campaign is playable end to end and the systems are stable, but this is a balance-and-feel pass in progress. Missions may get retuned between builds.
